How to have good marks during exams or class tests.

     The ultimate aim of every student during exams or class tests is to have good marks. For some students, exam is usually a nightmare because they hardly score up to half of the marks allocated for the class test or exams due to unpreparedness or phobia for the test or exam. While some other sets of students do have good to excellent marks because they know how to go about it.
     The following tips are what a student should do in order ti have good marks in exams and class tests, the student should;

• Develope interest in the course:
     This is the vert first step in having good marks in exams or class tests. Developing interest will enable the student to set a goal and have an open mind and determination towards having a good mark during exams or class tests.

• Like the Instructor/ Teacher:
     This may sound funny but it is the truth. Liking the teacher would stimulate a very good relationship between the teacher and student. Hence, the student would be eager and prepared to write any test or exam because the teacher is whom he / she has interest in and would love to impress.

• Avoid heaping up notes and other materials:
     Most students are guilty of this offence! Majority of students prefer to heap up notes and read only when the instructor announces that there would be tests or exams. Although this method works for few, i personally would not advise any serious student to take this path. If the student should read his/her nite after every class, he/she would definitely have good marks during exams or class tests because he/she would not have to rack up the brain to recall what was taught weeks ago when asked.

• Read ahead of the class:
     This is another trick that works like magic. By reading ahead of the class, the student is able to gain more method of solving problems and and knowing more than just the basics of the subject. For example, the instructor might teach the students 5+5 in the class and decide to set 5÷√2 in the exam. A wise student would hace done more research on the topic and get more knowledge about other techniques used in solving the questions.

• Read, follow instructions and be calm during exams or tests:
     One mistake students make during exams or class tests is that they do not follow instructions. Another mistake is misinterpreting the questions wrongly, thereby doing the wrong things because of panic, so the student needs to be calm.
